Wrongful Termination
The SARDAR LAW FIRM provides representation for employees that feel their termination was wrongful. Under New York State laws, there is no separate cause of action for “wrongful termination.” The term is generally used to describe a situation where an employee was terminated in a manner against the law. Examples of such terminations include: (1) breach of an employment contract; (2) termination due to membership in certain protected classes; (3) termination as retaliation for exercising certain rights or for engaging in protected activity, such as complaining of discrimination or harassment, or seeking accommodations or family and medical leave.
